About Us

Tri-City Motors opened for business in March of 1959. The original building constructed by Roy and John Lewis is pictured below.

Only used vehicles were sold out of the original building but by 1961 Tri-City Motors purchased a Studebaker new car franchise. A Triumph franchise came soon after and Tri-City Motors flourished until 1964 when Studebaker stopped producing cars. Tri-City Motors quickly replaced the Studebaker franchise with Saab and then in 1969 replaced the Saab franchise with a new fast paced Japanese car company called Datsun. In 1981 Triumph stopped producing cars and Datsun had become Nissan.

The Tri-City Motors building went through several renovations throughout the years constantly changing and improving the facility to accommodate growth and ensure that our customer received the best sales and service experience possible.
